Our Principles
Systems Thinking
We believe in creating holistic solutions that empowers and transform systems. Systems thinking ensures the development of sustainable solutions that transcends the life span of project life cycles. Seventh Consult works in the mindset that, our solutions need to outlive the original issues that warranted the development of an intervention. Relatedly, the firm considers difficulty in accessing funding for development projects, hence is inspired to create solutions that are sustainable.
Human Centered Design
We incorporate design thinking as a fundamental principle into every facet of our work. Inherently, the approach is constructive, positive and experiential, hence positively catalyzing our efforts. This also ensures that all our stakeholders participate meaningfully and in a relevant way. We have discovered that the best forward-thinking and representative outcomes come from genuine interaction. We thus use HCD to make it easier to create specialized frameworks for implementation.
Meaningful Youth Engagement
Meaningful Youth Engagement is essential to producing high-quality, and representative results. It is critical to elements such as planning, implementation, and assessment in our work. The firm places strong emphasis on the voices of girls, young women, and young people in general. Thus in order to ensure meaningful youth participation in all our assignments, the techniques used l guarantee that the opinions of children, teenagers, and young adults are carefully taken into account at every stage of the project.
Gender Transformation
We continuously consider the connections between age, ethnicity, education, power dynamics, and other related elements to ensure that our work goes beyond just incorporating women in order to create an environment that is gender-enabling. As a principle, we apply this in every assignment to improve the quality and representativeness of the outcomes.
